Collodion Artist
Samuel Cooley's traveling photography set-up. Circa 1864
I have long been a student of the material culture of the mid-19th century and the study of period images provides a wealth of information. This led me to explore how the art of photography in the field was done in those days.

I now ply my trade as a traveling collodion artist providing my services to mid-19th century enthusiasts at reenactments and living histories.  Recently I have expanded my repetoire to fine art photography including landscapes, still lifes and nudes.
